Bahadur Shah found Fateh (victory) at Chittor Fort.was a part of the campaign of the Mughal Empire against the kingdom of Mewar in 1567. Forces led by Akbar surrounded and besieged 8,000 Rajputs and around 30,000 civilians under the command of Rao Jaimal Rathore in Chittorgarh.

Chhatrapati Shivaji burst upon the fort of Panhala, located , 20 kilometres northwest of Kolhapur in Maharashtra, India. Damerla Rama Rao was an Indian artist, born to Physician Damerla Venkata Rama Rao and Lakshmi Devi. He was married to Satya Vani in 1919 and was inclined towards the art of painting and sketching since childhood. He also was the first one to start ‘Rajahmundry chitra kalashala’. Some of his famous paintings include Siddartha ragodayam and Kaartika pournami.

Biswanath Dash was an Indian politician, lawyer, and philanthropist. He was the Prime Minister of the Odisha Province of British India from 1937–39, Governor of Uttar Pradesh from 1962–67 and Chief Minister of Odisha from 1971–72.

Rani Karnavati,was a princess and temporary ruler from Bundi, India. She was married to Rana Sanga of Chittorgarh, the capital of Mewar Kingdom. She was the mother of the next two Ranas, Rana Vikramaditya and Rana Uday Singh, and grandmother of the legendary Maharana Pratap.She refused to flee and performed Jauhar to protect her honour.

Balasaheb Gangadhar Kher was the first Chief Minister of Bombay. In 1954, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India. He was a lawyer, solicitor, and a social worker by choice and was often described as “Sajjan”, meaning, good and gentle.
