*In 1927,
The first railway in Nepal was the Nepal Government Railway (NGR), a 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge railway, built by the British in 1927, during the Rana period. The railway connected Raxaul in British India with Amlekhganj in the Kingdom of Nepal.

*In 1931,
The Gandhi–Irwin Pact was a political agreement signed by Mahatma Gandhi and Lord Irwin, Viceroy of India, on 5 March 1931 before the Second Round Table Conference in London. Before this, Lord Irwin, the Viceroy, had announced in October 1929 a vague offer of 'dominion status' for British-occupied India in an unspecified future and a Round Table Conference to discuss a future constitution.

Wasim Jaffer is an Indian retired professional cricketer. He was a right-handed opening batsman and an occasional right arm off-break bowler. He is currently the highest run-scorer in Ranji Trophy cricket, surpassing Amol Muzumdar. In November 2018, he became the first batsman to score 11,000 runs in the competition.

*In 1997,
Pardeep Narwal (born 16 February 1996) is an Indian kabaddi player who currently plays for the UP Yoddha in VIVO Pro Kabaddi League and the Indian National Kabaddi team. He led the Patna Pirates to three straight VIVO Pro Kabaddi titles and holds a multitude of the league's raiding records.

Meghnad Saha, was that Indian astrophysicist who developed the Saha Ionization Equation. This equation is used to describe chemical and physical conditions in stars.
Saha also invented an instrument to measure the weight and pressure of solar rays and helped to build several scientific institutions, such as the Physics Department in Allahabad University and the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Calcutta. 

*In 1944,
Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, popularily known as ‘Dadasaheb Phalke’ was an Indian director, producer, and screenwriter. He is also called the father of Indian cinema. His debut, Raja Harishchandra was the first Indian movie in 1913.He made 95 feature-length films and 27 short films in his career, spanning 19 years, until 1937, including his most noted works.
