*In 1903,
On February 15,toy store owner and inventor Morris Michtom places two stuffed bears in his shop window, advertising them as Teddy bears. Michtom had earlier petitioned President Theodore Roosevelt for permission to use his nickname, Teddy. A teddy bear is a stuffed toy in the form of a bear. Since the creation of the first teddy bears which sought to imitate the form of real bear cubs, "teddies" have greatly varied in form, style, color, and material.

*In 2013,
A meteor explodes over Russia, injuring 1,500 people as a shock wave blows out windows and rocks buildings. This happens unexpectedly only hours before the expected closest ever approach of the larger and unrelated asteroid 2012 DA14.

Zeb-un-Nissa was a Mughal princess and the eldest child of Emperor Aurangzeb and his chief consort Dilras Banu Begum. She was also a poet, who wrote under the pseudonym of "Makhfi" or “Hidden”. She was imprisoned by her father in the last 20 years of her life at Salimgarh Fort, Delhi. Also her writings were collected posthumously as Diwan-i-Makhfi.
