Jaishankar Prasad was considered a pillar of romanticism in Hindi Literature alongwith other accomplished writers like Mahadevi Verma, Sumitra Nandan Pant and Suryakant Tripathi “Nirala”. He gave birth to a new literary trend “Chhayavad” which was a fusion of spiritualism with romanticism. Prasad died in 1937 at an age of 47 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

Guru Mani Madhava Chakyar was a celebrated master performance artist and Sanskrit scholar from Kerala, India, considered to be the greatest Chakyar Koothu and Koodiyattam (ancient Sanskrit drama theatre tradition) artist and authority of modern times.He was considered as the authority of Abhinaya (the classical Indian acting style) and Nātyaśāstra.
