“Tarzan”, one of the 1st adventure comic strips, 1st appears.
Tarzan of the Apes was adapted into newspaper strip form, first published January 7, 1929, with illustrations by Hal Foster. A full page Sunday strip began on March 15, 1931, with artwork by Rex Maxon.

*In 1987,
Kapil Dev takes his 300th Test wicket, at 28 the youngest.
an Indian former cricketer. He was a fast medium bowler and a hard-hitting middle order batsman. He led India to win its first Cricket World Cup title in 1983. He was named by Wisden as the Indian Cricketer of the Century in 2002.
